  1. Booking, Deposits & Payment
  • All bookings must be confirmed in writing and are subject to availability.
  • A non-refundable deposit (typically 25%–50%) is required to secure a booking.
  • The balance is due [7–14] days prior to the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Payments can be made via EFT, credit card, or other agreed-upon methods.
  • Late payments may incur interest or result in cancellation without refund.
  1. Cancellations & Refund Policy
  • Client Cancellations: Cancellations must be made in writing. The deposit is non-refundable. Refunds for any additional payments may be made at our discretion based on how close to the event the cancellation occurs.
  • Weather Cancellations: Outdoor fireworks are weather-dependent. If conditions are unsafe (e.g., high winds, fire bans), Melbourne Fireworks reserves the right to delay or cancel the show for safety reasons. In such cases, rescheduling may be offered, but refunds are not guaranteed.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for cancellations due to events beyond our control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or acts of God.
  1. Safety & Compliance

Melbourne Fireworks operates under strict compliance with Australian laws and local council regulations. All fireworks displays are conducted by licensed pyrotechnicians with approved risk assessments and safety protocols. The client agrees to:

  • Provide accurate venue details and access
  • Comply with local council requirements
  • Allow necessary safety buffer zones
  • Ensure audience cooperation with safety rules

Failure to meet these conditions may result in show cancellation with no refund.
